On 15 February this year, the Scientific Discipline Council for Mathematics granted our colleague Elżbieta Kleszcz a doctoral degree in the discipline of mathematics for her dissertation "Paired dominance in graphs", prepared under the supervision of Monika Pilśniak. At the same time, in a ballot, the Council recognised this dissertation as distinguished. Congratulations!

It is worth mentioning that this is already the third doctorate with distinction in our Department in the current decade. In December 2021, such doctorates were awarded to Jakub Kwaśny (supervisor Jakub Przybyło) and Marcin Stawiski (supervisor Monika Pilśniak).
